EARLY CHILDHOOD: Maria (Cuca) was the ___ child born to Pamfilo and Jovita Size Guellan and lived in Oplin until about 1931, when the family moved to Sacapu, Michoacan, Mexico. Her father died about 1936. The family moved to LaVillita, Coahila, Mexico. Her mother remarried Eusebio Marines about 19xx.

EDUCATION:

MILITARY: Cuca did not serve in the Military.

CAREER: While Cuca was a young girl) from ages 14 - 18) in LaVillita, the family traveled to the United States as migrant workers going to Colorado to work in the beet field, to Wisconsin to pick cherries and to California to pick grapes. About 1946, the family moved to Knox City, and lived and worked on a farm as sharecroppers.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:Cuca enjoyed doing volunteer work at St. Agustine Private School, and at the public school.
